AS 1690 – Rules for the safe design, construction and performance of domestic oil-fired appliances (known as the SAA Domestic Oil-fired Appliances Safe Design Code)
Relates to fixed and flued domestic-type oil burning appliances of all types irrespective of the function of the appliance or the type of its burner, but not normally over 60 kW energy input rate. It deals with the appliance only as a manufactured item and does not cover any matters of installation (see AS 1691).
